MISSION:

The main purpose of the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) is to create general conditions that permit the assurance of quality education to all Mexicans, at the level and in the means they require and in the place they demand.
 
VISION:
In 2025, for Mexico to have a wide, diversified and articulated educational system that offers education to the entire population for integral human development; for the system’s quality to be recognized at national and international levels; and for it to constitute the fundamental core of the nation’s cultural, scientific, technological, economic and social development.
